How do I use the carpark if I have booked online?
Licence Plate cameras at the entry to the carpark will read your licence plate and grant you access to the carpark.
Please make sure you enter the correct Licence Plate at the time of booking.
Do I need to park in a special area?
You need to park in the car park that you have booked, for example the Long Stay Car Park. Once you are in the car park you may park wherever you like.
Can I change or edit my booking?
If you wish to change or edit your booking dates or times, then you can simply cancel your booking prior to 24hrs from the booked entry time, and then create a new one. You will receive a full refund (less any non-refundable fees). If you wish to change or edit the vehicle details associated with your booking, please log into your account, select ‘upcoming bookings’ and edit the vehicle details from there. If you have any special requirements or require assistance, please email info@pnairport.co.nz.
Can I extend my booking once I have entered the in the car park?
No, but don't worry. Depending on how long extra you stay, a fee will be displayed at the exit barrier, and you can pay using Paywave at the exit. Alternatively, you can enter your Licence Plate into one of the pay machines and the charge for the extra parking time will be displayed, you can then pay and exit the carpark.
What shall I do if I don't receive an email confirmation?
Please check your junk emails and check your email address is correct by selecting the “my account” option on the top toolbar. By selecting “my bookings” you can also bring up the booking confirmation and receipt for your booking.
What happens if I exit the car park after the time I have booked to?
Depending on how long extra you stay, a fee will be displayed at the exit, and you can pay using Paywave at the exit. Alternatively, you can enter your Licence Plate into one of the pay machines and the charge for the extra parking time will be displayed, you can then pay and exit the carpark.
Is it possible to cancel a booking and get a refund?
Yes, at least 24 hours before your booked entry time you can cancel your booking by logging into your account. You will receive a full refund less any non-refundable fees.
What do I do if the barrier arm does not open when I arrive at the car park?
If the arm does not raise, check you are trying to enter the Long Stay Car Park, and that the booking period is valid. If the arm still does not raise, then use the intercom to contact one of our team members.
What do I do if the barrier arm does not open when I exit the car park?
If the arm does not raise, check to see if a fee is displayed at the exit, if it is please pay this using Paywave (this is for extended stays past the booking period). If the arm still does not raise, then use the intercom to contact one of our team members.

What do I need to bring with me to the car park?
To use the car park, you just need your vehicles licence plate to be the same as that on your booking.
How can I obtain a copy of my receipt?
You can login to the booking system and check your past and present bookings. Each booking you make is listed and includes a copy of the tax invoice / receipt, and the booking confirmation.
Do I have to pay a booking fee?
Yes, each booking has a small fee, this is to cover the cost of the electronic transaction. It is included in the total you pay.
What if the car park is full when I arrive?
Your booking will still allow you to enter, the system has been programmed to ensure you can still use the car park. If you have difficulty finding a park, park in our General Car Park and go to our Airport Help desk. One of our team members will find you a car park.
How many times can I enter and exit the car park for one booking?
Each booking is for a single use of the car park therefore you can only enter and exit once per booking.
Can I enter the car park earlier than my booked entry time?
The system allows you to entry a few minutes prior to your booked entry time. So, if you arrive slightly early it will let you in. However, this is only a few minutes so please make sure you book an earlier entry time if you think you will arrive earlier to avoid being held up at the barrier.
How do I know my details are secure?
We only hold basic information, just the information we need to operate the system efficiently. No credit card data is held at all. The booking site is SSL certified. For more information on privacy please refer to our privacy policy.
